Description
This project will protect the environmental, community, and aesthetic character of the southernmost tip of New Jersey’s Cape May Peninsula. Using the 2022 Cape May County Comprehensive Plan as a guide, this master plan will work in tandem with existing development efforts. Through public design interventions, this project will advance the comprehensive plan’s environmental, land-use, transportation, and planning goals. This project will address current and short-term future hazards to celebrate and honor Cape May’s history while promoting climate change awareness among residents and visitors.
