AbstractThis book advances a research agenda for a little studied topic, namely the popular culture of disasters (PCD). We systematically although selectively outline some possible fruitful topics and questions that researchers might address. However, no effort is made to present a full and total research agenda for the future. Instead, our focus is on those issues that at the present time might have the greatest potential. We regard these issues as being the most worthwhile, in the short term, to develop our understanding and knowledge.en_US
