Description
Allen G. Oliver, a property owner at Oaklands and a cousin of the Misses Wilson, was a poultry breeder and teacher in North Carolina. He died suddenly in 1928. Papers include deeds, bonds and mortgages to various Wilson family members, newspaper clippings about his engagement and funeral, a letter from Jefferson Standard Life Insurance Company, an issue of Extension Farm News, an agricultural news letter of North Carolina which contains three articles about Oliver, and letters from his widow Susie (Taylor) Oliver to the Misses Wilson.
