Includes the estate inventories of Hosea Boyer and Robert Hall; promissory notes; several indenture agreements; a bill to Ann Talley from James Bringhurst; a land agreement involving Nancy Boyer, James and Marshall Elliot, and Betsy and Joseph Vinson; a land survey done for Joseph Vinson; and several grand inquests and other legal documents involving crimes committed in Sussex County, including assault (involving women and African-Americans), unlawful sale of liquor, road obstruction, and counterfeiting.
