Delaware (2000)

Abstract

The Delaware and U.S. economy are in the midst of a period of unprecedented growth. Nationally, unemployment is at a thirty-year low and income growth is robust. Delaware is also performing handsomely, recording eight-plus years of unbroken growth. This paper, prepared for the Spring 2000 Choices for Delaware forum, provides an overview of the current state of the national and Delaware economies, and what the outlook is for each.
