Description
Plot of D/L values for multiple amino acids in Mercenaria from MCK, GP, and SP (Stetson Pit) (from Wehmiller 2013, Quaternary Geochronology 16 (3-20). Three aminozones are found in superposition at Stetson Pit (SP-U, SP-M, SP-L) and the Chowan River Formation is the “aminostratigraphic basement” for the region.
