Vague predicates such as "pile" "tall" and "thin" are plagued by a logical paradox. Many attempts have been made to solve such a paradox, however they all lead to some unintuitive conclusions. The aim of this paper is to look which view, if any, is more acceptable, keeping in mind current understandings about how the world and our language operates.en_US
