Abstract
Description
The survey of Knowledge, Attitudes, Beliefs, and Behavior (KABB) was conducted in
1997 throughout Delaware. This survey collects information from a subset of Delawareans who
are concerned with their HIV status. It examines the participants’ knowledge about HIV and where
they obtain their information. It measures sexual behavior and assesses an individual’s concerns
about any associated risk. Substance abuse behavior is also addressed since there is evidence that
individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol may engage in risky behavior.
