Reviews progress made by Americans in developing the country; war in the East and the West; U.S. cannot remain isolated; must condemn aggressors and aid their victims; U.S. should strengthen its defenses and join other free people to confront the aggressors; such confrontation may be last chance to prevent war; delay is dangerous; America needs new dynamic which will overcome lethargy.
