Description | Dr. [Wilbur Owen] Sypherd will be missed by his many friends; fortunately manner of his going was a blessing for he had worried about possibility of long illness; had discussed with Sypherd publication problems his book presented; was informed by Rodney Sharp of Messersmith's interest in trying to secure funds for the book's publication; has asked several members of English Department to read manuscript to discover what shape it is in; executor of Sypherd's estate is Newark Trust Co., Treasurer of which is Edward F. Matthews; delighted to hear Messersmith is working on books about experiences in Europe and Latin America; is sure they will be interesting and worthwhile; appreciates Messersmith's invitation to visit in Mexico; may well do it. | en_US |
