Description | 2 copies. These are fateful days in history of all the Americans; ancestors fought to win independence enjoyed by all; all the Americas have devoted themselves to arts of peace for many years and have lived in peace with each other; but in Italy, Germany, and Japan there developed governments which believed only in rule of force and who ruthlessly use war to impose their will on others; on last Dec. 7 Japan made direct attack on U.S. and U.S. responded in only honorable way by declaring war; a few weeks ago two Mexican merchant vessels were sunk by submarines of the aggressor states and Mexican Government responded as did U.S. by declaration of war against Axis powers; Mexicans, like Americans, are defending not only national honor, but their sovereignty and freedom of their people; victory will not be won by words or faith, but by every Mexican, every American, every citizen of the other Americas making their full contribution to the victory. | en_US |
