Description
U.S. blessed in having great leaders to guide policy during years of crisis, but none who has met problems more successfully or who has had greater responsibilities than Roosevelt; believes he will go down in history of U.S. as its greatest President; hearts are saddened at his passing, but there can also be rejoicing for his life was not lived in vain; the principles for which he stood will live, and his personal courage and example will remain as guide for others.
