Had as dinner guest Princess Lubomirska, wife of first Polish Ambassador to U.S.; she reported Poles more determined than ever; they realize odds against them, but have seen results (in Czechoslovakia) of making concessions to Germans; Hungarian at dinner who knows [Josef] Beck well said Beck would not give in.
