Reports death of General [Hans] von Seeckt; knew von Seeckt well in Berlin and had great respect for him; a great military strategist, he also had grasp of political and social problems; has lived in retirement last few years; both Hitler and Goering attended funeral, though von Seeckt never hid his dislike of them.
