Description
Large scale disasters, whether natural or technological,' represent one of the greatest sources of environmental stress which can face an organization. With little or no warning, organizations in and around an impacted area are often forced to alter drastically their routine tasks and devote their energies to emergency response or recovery. Indeed, in extreme disasters the number of organizations which do not adapt in some fashion is few.
