The Fort DuPont Nature Trail Master Plan proposes unique design solutions that respond to sea level rise and coastal erosion. Recommendations include a connection of wooded and riverfront trails, living offshore breakwaters and an earthen levee designed to restore health to a degrading intertidal marsh, promote ecological and coastal resilience, and connect visitors with a healthy living shoreline ecosystem and to Delaware's history.Delaware Fort DuPontDelaware River, DECoastal ecosystemsCoastal resilienceLiving shorelineMarsh ecosystemsGreen infrastructureSea level riseLandscape architectureCoastal protectionLiving breakwatersFlood bermCoastal erosionHistoric Fort DuPont Nature TrailCapstone report
