Tóth, Tibor2024-06-272024-06-272023-05https://udspace.udel.edu/handle/19716/34541In 1998, the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Health (DPH) began to measure the number and spatial distribution of dentists practicing in Delaware. DPH repeated the survey of dentists in 2005, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2022. The objective was to support the identification of underserved areas and to understand any existing or developing trends that could impact the supply of dental services. The 2022 dentist survey instrument replicated what was used in previous years. Moreover, questions were added to assess the impact of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) on dentists. Also, questions on staffing and open chair hours were included to provide contextual information to the quantitative data collection among dentists.en-USGeneral DentistryPediatric DentistryActive DentistsThe Population to Provider RatioDentists in Delaware 2022Technical Report
