Describes movement in 1946 toward nationalization of cement industry in Argentina; although operated as Argentine companies they were largely owned by parent companies in U.S.; was assured by Perón that bill in Congress to nationalize the industry would not pass; he himself would see the man sponsoring the bill and endeavor to persuade him to withdraw his sponsorship.
