Abstract | The University of Delaware conducted community-planning projects in two selected towns in Delaware starting in spring 2012 and culminating in November 2012 at the Complete Communities Delaware 2012 Summit. The Town of Elsmere was one of the two towns selected for this project and the focus of this report. The purpose for the community-planning projects was to engage town stakeholders in considering how to make their communities “more complete.” Five key topic areas were identified as aspects of a complete community: 1) complete streets, 2) efficient land use, 3) healthy and livable, 4) inclusive and active, and 5) sustainable. | en_US |
