Reports on work of Foreign Minister [Egon Berger-Waldenegg] at League of Nations meeting in Geneva; he sounded out French and British statement on extent to which they would go in guaranteeing Austrian independence in case Italy, through her absorption in Ethiopia, became too weak a reed to lean on; he said Austria would postpone consideration of restoration but urged equality of rights for Austria in matter of armaments and a seat for Austria on League Council.
