Description

Managed to get passport for Fritz Eichberg and is giving him immigration visa, but is sending it by diplomatic pouch to London where Eichberg can pick it up before sailing; Mrs. Eichberg cannot leave until later because of ill mother in Berlin; anxious about Emil Baerwald whose passport has been taken; cannot secure new one except for emigration which Baerwald refuses; Baerwald has brother in New York who urges him to come; Mrs. [Gustav] Stresemann came to lunch, her situation unchanged; house found for Ambassador [Hugh R. Wilson].
