DescriptionConference organizer tapping artist on shoulder to end action after sign does not work | "It Is Not The Moment To Tell A Lie" was an artistic action performed at the International Conference on the Arts in Society, at the University of Kassel, Kassel, Germany in August 2007. The artist donned gilded goggles, cotton-stuffed noise-cancelling headphones, and a work coverall and proceeded to form the phrase "It Is Not The Moment To Tell A Lie" (from Samuel Beckett's The Unnamable) out of 25 pounds of clay brought from the US. The actions was recorded by the artist's laptop computer and the letters were periodically stuffed into her pockets. The action lasted for the allotted duration of a conference session; organizers were required to force an end to the performance. "
