Received telephone call from [James Burke] Alley of New York passing on message from D.N. Heineman of Brussels regarding meeting called by King Leopold of several European countries for pacific conciliation; Heineman requested support of U.S. press, but asked that news not be given to American press until it is announced by Belgian government.
