Description
In German. Nazis have seized his private museum and other posessions in Austria; was interrogated and jailed, and finally forced to leave Austria; is now working with firm of Leopold Wolf in Fiume; part owner of firm but receives no income from it; would like to go to Hungary where his forefathers lived and where he has business interests, but cannot claim Hungarian citizenship; requests that Messersmith ask [John Flournoy] Montgomery, U.S. Minister to Hungary to intercede for him with Hungarian authorities.
