No. 31, Sept. 7, 1939, in which he predicted how long Poland would hold out and the fall of France; describes fall of France and loss of French fleet to Germans; warns Petain government only a puppet manipulated by Germans and U.S. should have no dealings with it; shows comparative strength of English and Germans in fleets, including submarines, aviation, armies, and tanks; in sheer numbers Germany has advantage; possible England may be defeated in few months if U.S. does not help her at once.
