Description
Based on the Long-Range Plan developed by the Arboretum and Landscape Committee (ALC) of the Friends of Historic Riverview Cemetery (HRC)
and on personal interviews and historical research, this project will:
Document the history of U.S. burial grounds, including abandonment and
restoration at HRC and other local cemeteries.
Expand the cemetery’s safe and respectful public use to enhance the likelihood of
public engagement and development of HRC advocates.
Identify short- and long-term physical enhancements at HRC that will support
community health benefits and public engagement.
