Abstract
Description
This project plans to use the marina to explore, demonstrate, and test different types of green stormwater infrastructure, shoreline restoration, and other restoration tactics which could work to mitigate ecological issues the canal and greater Chesapeake Bay face. In addition this will expose the local communities and visitors to tactics that help them understand the importance of a healthy ecosystem and educate them of the issues in supporting the ecosystems of the canal and bays.
