Abstract
This paper discusses the “educational” issues involved in utilizing the new railway technologies. The objective is to explain what has led to the use of new technology on the railway, and why training is essential in the application of new technology. To make training effective, it is important to understand the roles of the people involved in successful knowledge transfer.
