Unaccompanied youth, especially those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ+), are a vulnerable and understudied population. Throughout this report, researchers examine the complexities of measuring this population. The report provides detailed findings from current research and guidance for future work. The findings reveal the necessity of building on existing resources and establishing a more extensive system of supports for unaccompanied LGBTQ+ youth who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness or housing insecurity throughout Delaware.
