| Description | Comments on excellence of American School as evidenced by acceptance of its graduates by major American institutions of higher education and their performance in those institutions after acceptance; commends faculty, administrators, and students; believes school has made helpful contribution to educational structure of Mexico, and has been effective element in bringing about increased understanding between U.S. and Mexico; while designed especially to serve needs of young people of American community in Mexico, hundreds of young Mexicans have studied side by side with Americans to the profit of both; congratulates graduating class on being able, now war is almost over, to look forward to happy and secure future; charter of United Nations adopted in San Francisco not a perfect document, but it is so far the best insurance for peace the world has ever known, and peace loving people of the world must put aside selfish interests and narrow nationalism, if they are to make it work. | en_US |
