DescriptionFrom the Hugh Wilson Papers at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library, West Branch, Iowa. Interest has been aroused in [Prentiss] Gilbert's telegram concerning proposed visit of Dr. Hemmen to U.S. Cannot see what the Germans think such a visit will accomplish--commercial policies of our two countries being so completely divergent. Gilbert also mentioned trip of [Gottfried] Aschmann's also inexplicable to us, unless it be for furthering German propaganda. Asks Wilson to pass on information that comes his way regarding the visits.en_US
