Description
Saulsbury's role as state committee chairman including various party lists: Member of Democratic District Committee (by wards), list of people from whom the governor should choose Voters' Assistants, delegates to New Castle County convention, New Castle County roll call of delegates, delegates to the national party convention, Kent Co. Democratic Committee, Democratic legislative ticket, and the Democratic National Committee. The remainder of the file is dedicated to commentary in various forms about the Republicans: "What Roosevelt Says," "The Trend of The Republican party" (by John Dos Passos), "The Issues of 1904" (replies to the Republicans by Hon. Edward M. Shepard). State and national platforms, and a booklet on George Gray.
