Abstract
Description
Article by [Wallace R.] Deuel, European correspondent of Chicago Daily News, reports recent article in Hamburger Fremdenblatt which states that German-American minority in U.S. is subjected to worst kind of persecution and oppression; incredible that Germans should believe such a campaign by German Government and press should be effective in U.S.; clear that present Congress should introduce bill providing wider base for cancellation of naturalization and subsequent deportation of persons engaged in un-American activities; bill should be drafted carefully so as not to interfere with constitutional rights; if German-American agitators are faced with cancellation of naturalization and deportation, their activities would stop at once.
