Marginalization of Social Studies Infographic

Abstract

This infographic was created by the Social Studies Collaborative of the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and released in November 2018 in order to show how social studies has been marginalized in elementary grades, the positive impact that social studies can have when properly prioritized, and how schools and districts can move toward stronger elementary social studies experiences for students.
