MISSION:
The mission behind this project is to honor the legacy of the old stadium, a symbol of the Buffalo community, by transforming it into a community complex for all residents of greater Buffalo. This project seeks to preserve and bolster the spirit this site holds for current and future generations to enjoy for decades to come.
GOALS:
- Transform the site to preserve its status as a community hub.
- Increase vegetation and pervious surfaces in the primary active core.
- Increase circulation throughout the site.
- Increase accessibility to the site for all members of the community through the revitalization of the nearby rail corridor.
