video recording of Ustream broadcast of performance | Lowering NOW to the Ground was performed in Eugene, Oregon and transmitted via a closed circuit TV, therefore creating an unpredictable construction of reflections, shadows, and of out-of-phase refresh cycles. An action performed as part of the 2009 webstreamed exhibition “Low Lives,” which was curated by Jorge Rojas and featured artists performing around the world with live Ustream webcasts being displayed and projected in the following gallery spaces: labotanica, Houston, TX; Diaspora Vibe Gallery, Miami, FL; FiveMyles, Brooklyn, NY.
