Description
Laguardia reported that [Wilson] Popenoe and [William T.] Shaddick had returned from Camaguey and Oriente provinces where they investigated banana culture and rural rehabilitation respectively; Shaddick returning to U.S. today; Laguardia said he and other members of survey party would return to Oriente to study rice and irrigation projects.
