- ItemArtistic Dis/Placement in Colonial Maracaibo(Latin American Studies Program, University of Delaware, Newark, DE, 2005-06-30) Domínguez, MónicaCultic images and miracle-making icons, in particular, worked as pivotal points around which Spanish American communities fashioned their local identities and civic pride. Explorations of the several placements and displacements of artistic images within colonial Maracaibo reveal the ways in which they related to the social and political life of the city.
