Abstract
Description
A poet, essayist, journalist, and librarian, Guiney was born in Massachusetts but spent much of her life abroad. Her many poetry collections include Songs at the Start (1884); The White Sail and Other Poems (1887); and England and Yesterday (1898). She is also the co-author of several volumes with her good friend, Alice Brown.
