Description
Describes the distressed condition of Army officers, aristocrats, and members of imperial court in Germany after World War I; of course masses suffered also, but army officers and aristocrats had no means of earning a living and many actually went hungry; Society of Friends gave some relief, and ladies of diplomatic corps in Berlin formed organization to help, but it was only a drop in the bucket.
