Is not a sentimental person, but has been unusually moved today by marks of appreciation received on 30th anniversary of entry into Foreign Service; enclosing copies of letters received from Foreign Minister [Ezequiel] Padilla, Senator [Emilio] Araujo, one of leading members of Mexican Senate, and Manuel Tello, Undersecretary of Foreign Relations; was called to the Palace where President Avila Camacho offered his verbal congratulations.
