Assembled to pay tribute to honored dead who lie in National Cemetery as well as to those who lie in other cemeteries over the land and in foreign countries; first Memorial Day since beginning of present conflict; behooves all Americans to bend every effort, make every sacrifice for victory so that these men shall not have died in vain.
