I have the honor to state that I have received a notification from the Quarter-Master Genl dated Dec 8th 1865 that my affidavit pertaining to Clothing, Camp & Garrison Equipage for the period I was in the U.S. Service has been received, examined and transmitted to your Office for final action.  I have also received a certificate of non-indebtedness from the Chief of Ordnance dated Nov 17th 1865 and would most respectfully ask that a certificate of non-accountability be forwarded me from your office as early as possible in order that I may procure my final pay
